Schengen Pal provides an informational tool to help users estimate and understand their travel stay duration within the Schengen Area under the 90/180-day rule.

2.2 Paid Subscription

Access to the Service requires a valid paid subscription. Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel anytime from your account dashboard; access will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

2.3 Service Limitations

The Service is provided solely for informational and planning purposes. While we strive for accuracy, Schengen Pal does not guarantee that any calculation, recommendation, or date provided is error-free, complete, or legally binding.

3.1 Accuracy of Input

You must enter correct and verifiable travel dates for accurate results. You are solely responsible for confirming calculations against your own travel records, passport stamps, or official entry/exit logs. Always verify with official government sources (such as embassies, consulates, or border authorities) or licensed immigration attorneys before making travel decisions.

3.2 Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Attempting to decompile, reverse-engineer, or tamper with the Service or its code
• Using bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access or extract data
• Introducing viruses, malware, or any malicious code
• Interfering with or disrupting the integrity, availability, or performance of the Service or servers

All content, design, trademarks, logos, text, software, and other materials displayed on the Service are the exclusive property of Schengen Pal or its licensors and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

While every effort has been made to build and test this tool carefully, Schengen Pal accepts no liability for any loss, delay, penalty, or other outcome arising from the use of this tool or reliance on its calculations. All results are estimates provided for general information only and should be verified against official government records before travel.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Schengen Pal and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your reliance on any information provided by the Service.

Guest users’ data is processed locally in the browser and never transmitted to our servers. Pro users’ data is securely stored and synchronized via Firebase. Data collection and processing are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We may update or modify these Terms or the Service at any time without prior notice. The “Effective Date” above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in competent courts within that jurisdiction.

Schengen Pal may provide translations of the Service, including its interface, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or other materials, in multiple languages for user convenience. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between a translated version and the English version, the English version shall govern and be the controlling interpretation.

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
